Schools are excellent research partners. In Austria, there are already numerous educational institutions that have been successfully cooperating with research institutions for years and are involved in scientific projects. In addition, there are many schools that are interested in cooperation and want to participate in research, but do not yet have contacts to research institutions.

Research Partner Schools

Schools that stand out for their exceptional commitment and successful cooperation with research institutions, in the course of which pupils are actively involved in research processes, have been awarded the Young Science Seal of Approval (in German "Young-Science-Gütesiegel") for Research Partner Schools by the Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research since 2012. This is intended to recognize scientific commitment every two years. So far, 39 different schools throughout Austria have been awarded the seal in the course of four calls for proposals. Some of the schools have been awarded regularly since the beginning, four times in a row.
