Visually impaired students collaborate on technical innovations for physical education classes
In the Sparkling Science project "Smart Sport Assistance", students with and without visual impairments work together with researchers to jointly develop technical innovations, so-called assistance systems, to enable visually impaired children and young people to participate more easily in sports lessons.
Univ.-Prof. Arnold Baca from the Center for Sports Science and University Sports leads the project and talks in an interview about the research activities and first experiences (in German). He addresses the following questions:
